Put Some Soul Into It
As people say I put my blood, heart and Soul into Symmetry. - Okay, maybe not my blood…that would be unsanitary.
Over 300 Scientifically Supported Studies have gone into our creation of formulas.

*This brand does not imply, support or advocate for any certain religion or religious practice. Our use of the word “Soul,” is to capture us, in a more existential view, our individualism and experiences we have as our own selves. We advocate to celebrate our unique selves, as we navigate our own path in the world of all peoples coinciding on the planet.
Purposefully created, and scientifically backed active compounds in our Essential Oil blends. The request to buy my blends stemmed from my clients, therefore our signature blends have been tried and tested for years prior to being made available to for sale.
My unique blend of interests and study into modern medicine and holistic health practices, Chakra Balances, Asana Practice, Breathwork and Herbal Healing Practices in addition to my formal education, has lead me to create Symmetry LLC. Where a blend of these two worlds brings together a Symmetry(see what I did there), a harmonious balance where science and soul meet. As you read on, you will find a couple of scientific papers referenced. I love the Symmetry between the healing benefits these plants in both a focus on “the Soul” and the Science that brings medical evidence to the efficacy of these oils.
“The term “essential oil” comes from “quinta essentia” in ancient Latin, which means the fifth element. The fifth element is the spirit or life force integrated with the other four elements: fire, air, earth, and water. The isolation of essential oil was thought to be the process of removing the spirit from the plant and the oils were used as healing essences with medical benefits.”1

Outside of the subjective recalls of experience, the science will show a measurable response when people under go forms of Aromatherapy to assist the nervous system (both Sympathetic and Parasympathetic), and the changes in brain wave activity in a meditative state. The Science proves a measurable change is occurring within us as we dive into these different states of brain activity.
In Ayurveda, we talk about Dosha’s, different forms of existence that incorporate different elements of ourselves. And it talks about taking efforts to balance these Doshas to restore balance in our worlds. Each Dosha has a balance of elements, like fire and water. The attempt to balance these elements is to achieve a balance.
In fact, the “founder of medicine,” Hippocrates created what he called the “Four Humors.” The basis of this idea, was his theory we have four predominant areas of health. If one of the four Humors is out of balance, it will cause and show up as sickness in our body. Now, modern medicine has come a long way from this original though and has diverged in many ways. However, for many years Physicians recited the Hippocratic oath, and his medical intentions still impact us today. In fact, most medical tests today are still run off of “normally computed” ranges as a diagnostic tool. A result far outside of a normal value is a diagnostic indicator of a condition. So to me, its stands to reason balance and Symmetry within the body is of great importance.
Most of these essential oil have been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years and are not a new concept to the world. In some cases, the science is just catching up with the proof of the medicinal claims that have been practiced and passed down for generations!
Many of the modern pharmaceuticals we have today come from a natural source that gets highly concentrated, then produced synthetically and in the highly concentrated amount to produce many of todays drugs. However, most plants have Antagonistic Compounds, active components and components that counteract the active compounds leading to…you guessed it…SYMMETERY! This biological antagonist serves an extremely essential purpose— to counteract the toxicity of the active compound. The belief in the balance of active compounds and counteractive occur in the same plant is an adaptive response to plants survival, growth, a symbiosis within the ecosystem, and need to respond to environmental changes that has developed over hundreds of millions of years. (That is the longest pharmaceutical trial I have ever heard of.)

Its my personal belief, plants and fungi have been the original scientists-—testing and perfecting their own biological compounds over millions of years. I feel we have barley begun to scratch the surface of the wealth of knowledge, beauty and benefit that our world has. In fact, even being in nature and looking around has proven to stimulate our visual centers and lower stress and mental fatigue —due to fractals that form naturally in nature.
